Matchbox 20's Exile in America Tour - This weeks Hottest Concert Tour!

Matchbox Twenty's upcoming tour is this week's pick for one hot concert. Tickets for the 2008 tour are already on sale, with select dates already sold out. The tour starts January 25, 2008 in Hollywood, Fl and ends April 22, 2008 in Brisbane, AU.

Matchbox 20 debuted in 1996, has sold over 37 million albums and released many Top 40 singles throughout 1997 & 1998. Everyone knows a song by MB20 – it's impossible not to. Some of their biggest hits include Push, 3 A.M., and Real World. The last time Matchbox toured was in 2003, followed by 2 shows in 2005 for New Years in Las Vegas. After this, the guys parted ways in order to pursue side projects. Returning members include Rob Thomas, Paul Doucette, Brian Yale and newbie Kyle Cook who is replacing Adam Gaynor (rhythm guitar) who left the band in 05'.

This tour will also offer some additional talent including Alanis Morissette. Also, Mute Math will be performing as the opening act for the spring 2008 tour. For those of you in the US looking to purchase tickets, the Official Matchbox Twenty website is offering Tickets, Destination Packages and VIP Packages. There are Silver, Gold, Platinum and Premium packages; Prices range from $250 – $800 for these. The VIP pack (in Gold & Silver) is available to Australia & New Zealand fans as well.

Certainly THE Hottest Tour of 2008!! fyi....Kyle Cook has been with Matchbox Twenty since its inception in 1995. Adam Gaynor was fired and not replaced.
