Spice Girls Reunion Tour – This Weeks Hottest Concert Tour

The Spice Girls tour is this week’s pick for one hot concert. Yes, that’s right, for those of you who aren’t aware – The Spice Girls are back with a new tour, new album and still promoting “Girl Power”. Performing together for the first time in eight years, the Spice Girls kicked off their world reunion tour in Vancouver, British Columbia with roughly 16,000 fans on December 2, 2007. This tour is set to continue into February, now that the group has release additional US and Canadian dates.

The group was formed back in the 90’s when all 5 girls (Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell) responded to an ad requesting "Five Lively Girls" for a musical group in the summer of 1993. Catchy dance/pop tunes, sexy and fun personalities, and a proud, all-girl image are what made them appealing to crowds of young and old. The group remained together into early 2001 before parting ways and taking on solo careers/projects.

This past June the girls announced their reunion tour and here we are. Tickets are obviously hot and every fan wants one. This tour seems to be buzzing like they are the next big thing once again. Ticket sales for the 1st London date are said to have sold out in 38 seconds – quite possibly making it the fasting selling concert in history. Due to the massive tour sell-out, additional dates were added in Canada, US and London.
