The new Linkin Park concert tour picks up not to long after the annual Projekt Revolution tour came to an end. The music starts on 2/12/ in Omaha, NE with dates continuing across the US and Canada until 3/10. Joining LP on this mini tour will be Coheed and Cambria.
In case you did’t know, these guys are big. The original group was formed in 1996 and has since then sold over 50 million albums as well as claiming 2 Grammy awards. Their debut album Hybrid Theory provided them with mainstream success in 2005. My personal favorite would have to be their EP released in 99’ followed by Hybrid Theory in 00'– I prefer the non mainstream LP. In my opinion their first albums were the best. With the new album Minutes to Midnight they have chosen to explore other genres outside for the Nu Metal era. While not my style it seems to have been received well by fans in general.
Now is the time to get your tickets. Chances are these shows will sell out. With such a large and diverse fan base as well as a limited number of dates I’m sure these concert tickets will be gone before you know it. Smart fans are apart of the fan club, they get some pretty sweet perks like pre-sale access to concert tickets before anyone else. If you’re a hardcore fan, it’s worth the cash.
