Avril Lavigne's The Best Damn Tour is this week’s pick for one hot concert tour. The show starts up this March in Victoria, BC.
This tour is in support of the 23-year-old Canadian's 3rd album The Best Damn Thing. Is it just me or does it seem like she has been around for a really long time? Avirl's first album Let Go was released in 2002 and sold over 16 million copies. Some of her best hit, old and new include ncluding Complicated, Sk8er Boi, I'm with You, My Happy Ending, and Girlfriend.
She doesn't seem to be that crazy little "punk" kid she once tried to be. I suppose marrige and getting a bit older will do that to you.
Lavigne's tour will include about 71 dates world wide from 3-5-2008 until 7-9-2008. There are special VIP tickets avaible for select cities. For information on those tickets check out Avril's Offical site. I'm sure the anyone thinking about seeing her live will be in for an evening of loads energy and enthusiasm!

Linkin Park Tour – This Weeks Hottest Concert Tour
Monday, January 21, 2008 at 8:37 AM Labels: { Concerts, Linkin Park, Tickets, Tour } {0 comments}
The new Linkin Park concert tour picks up not to long after the annual Projekt Revolution tour came to an end. The music starts on 2/12/ in Omaha, NE with dates continuing across the US and Canada until 3/10. Joining LP on this mini tour will be Coheed and Cambria.
In case you did’t know, these guys are big. The original group was formed in 1996 and has since then sold over 50 million albums as well as claiming 2 Grammy awards. Their debut album Hybrid Theory provided them with mainstream success in 2005. My personal favorite would have to be their EP released in 99’ followed by Hybrid Theory in 00'– I prefer the non mainstream LP. In my opinion their first albums were the best. With the new album Minutes to Midnight they have chosen to explore other genres outside for the Nu Metal era. While not my style it seems to have been received well by fans in general.
Now is the time to get your tickets. Chances are these shows will sell out. With such a large and diverse fan base as well as a limited number of dates I’m sure these concert tickets will be gone before you know it. Smart fans are apart of the fan club, they get some pretty sweet perks like pre-sale access to concert tickets before anyone else. If you’re a hardcore fan, it’s worth the cash. Concert tickets are available right on Linkin Park.com.

James Blunts’ Lost Souls Tour – This Weeks Hottest Concert
Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 1:06 PM Labels: { Concerts, James Blunt, Tickets, Tour } {0 comments}
This week’s pick for the hottest concert tour goes to James Blunt. The Lost Souls Tour makes its debut on February 4, 2008 in Seattle, WA at the Moore Theater. This portion of Blunt’s touring extends into early March; stopping in Atlanta, GA. For you overseas ticket seekers, there are dates throughout January in the UK and even more dates for a European Tour from March – April!
James released his first album in 2005; this album included the #1 hit Your Beautiful. Along with his amazing vocals, you will find Blunt plays a number of instruments including organ, marimba, piano, mallotron and guitar. He was the first British artist since Elton John (in 1997) to top the American singles charts when Your Beautiful went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2006. That is such a beautiful song - It was written for his at the time girlfriend, whom he has since dumped.
James will be accompanied on this US tour by Sara Barelles. Tickets for most US dates are available now – only one date has presales currently and that would be Asheville, NC for 3/3/2008. You must join the Fan Community to access these presales. Tickets for the European tour and UK tour are also selling at this time, so there is no excuse not to have a ticket!
Before I wrap this up, I’ll leave you with a neat fact about Mr. Blunt:
For every concert ticket he sells online, he plants a new tree in the garden of his Spanish villa!
I think that’s pretty cool. I mean, who doesn’t love a tree hugging hippy? :-)

Spice Girls Reunion Tour – This Weeks Hottest Concert Tour
Monday, December 17, 2007 at 8:40 AM Labels: { Concerts, Pop, Spice Girls, Tickets } {0 comments}
The group was formed back in the 90’s when all 5 girls (Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell) responded to an ad requesting "Five Lively Girls" for a musical group in the summer of 1993. Catchy dance/pop tunes, sexy and fun personalities, and a proud, all-girl image are what made them appealing to crowds of young and old. The group remained together into early 2001 before parting ways and taking on solo careers/projects.
This past June the girls announced their reunion tour and here we are. Tickets are obviously hot and every fan wants one. This tour seems to be buzzing like they are the next big thing once again. Ticket sales for the 1st London date are said to have sold out in 38 seconds – quite possibly making it the fasting selling concert in history. Due to the massive tour sell-out, additional dates were added in Canada, US and London.
